Hello and welcome to Live. Laugh. Read. I’m joysofbookworms, a complete and utter self-confessed bookworm living in Australia. I’m not much of a writer but it’s a rare thing to see me without a book in hand.
I created this blog to discuss books so please comment! I love to hear your opinion.
My favourite colour is red and I am a major Superwholockian. I also enjoy the Marvel universe.
I am a nerd and proudly so. Just remember, whenever someone calls you a nerd it is a complement and an acknowledgement of your acedemic excellence and/or your fandom participation – both of which are excellent qualities.
“…because nerds like us are allowed to be unironically enthusiastic about stuff… Nerds are allowed to love stuff, like jump-up-and-down-in-the-chair-can’t-control-yourself love it. Hank, when people call people nerds, mostly what they’re saying is ‘you like stuff.’ Which is just not a good insult at all. Like, ‘you are too enthusiastic about the miracle of human consciousness’.” – John Green
I love, love, love BookTube! For those of you who don’t know, it’s where awesome people talk about books on YouTube. They do book tags, challenges, hauls and reviews.
My favourite BookTubers include:
– Christine from polandbananasBOOKS
– Kat from Katytastic
– Jesse from jessethereader
– Natasha from Tashapolis
– Regan from PeruseProject
I also have quite a few others that I follow but if I listed them all we’d be here all night.
Most bookworms always groan at the question “What is your favorite book/author/series?” Or variations thereupon. – I am no exception. However, I have done my best to construct a list of recommended reads.

joysofbookworms,
Welcome to the blogging community! I’ve been following you over this past two months, and I was falling more and more in love with your book reviews. We love a lot of the same novels! I can’t believe If I Stay is being made into a movie. I was wondering if you take review requests or author interviews? If so, my email is shannonathompson@aol.com. I would love to speak with you. Feel free to contact me.

Thanks so much! I really appreciate it 🙂 My friends and I can’t for the “If I Stay” movie to come out either! ^_^ I’d love to take some review requests and author interviews (though I’m not really sure what author interviews entail – I’d love to give it a go though). I’ll keep in touch 🙂

Hello! 🙂
We are from Club Bookie, a new website that aims to bring bookworms together through listing up and creating a haven that would feature compilations of anything and everything book related. From bloggers, to vloggers, to bookstagrams, to book clubs, communities, and events — you name it!
We were just wondering if you might be interested to be a part of the book bloggers list. We would like to inform you ahead that the questionnaire might be a bit long. We really wanted to bring the connection of the readers and the bloggers a bit more closer, thus, the feature-like questions.
If you’re interested to become a part of our mini project, we hope that you could fill out our form here: http://goo.gl/forms/H6kVjX8drC
If you have friends who might also be interested to be a part of the list, please feel free to have them sign up!
Looking forward to hearing from you soon. ❤
Best,

Hi:) I was wondering if you would consider looking at Superhighway. If you look at the reviews for a few moments, you will see that it is a very special book. Superhighway is about an18yr old with power to fly through the Internet and change data. Reviewers called the book epic, sensational, addictive, brilliant. Some of the best reviews are from romance novel reviewers and bloggers who don’t read sci-fi.
