    A newbie as well!
Make sure you link your twitter account to your WordPress one, so that everytime you post in your blog it will automatically generate a link in twitter 🙂

      1. Well, there might be another way, but I for one still prefer to use the WP Admin page. There is a link to it on the left where you view your stats, for instance.
Then you click on Settings > Sharing. You have the option to connect your WordPress account to all sorts of social media 🙂
        Hope that helps!

  2. Whoop whoop! I recommend making sure you actually interact with people, as that’s where the fun is. I’ve gotten into conversation with a few authors, which feels amazing, since I’d previously thought of them as ~other~.

    My username is @dani_reviews. 🙂

      1. Look for the human tweets. Other bloggers and authors are ultimately normal people, and once you get into the Twitter habit, you’ll find it almost refreshing to just let out those little thoughts from your day-to-day life.

I caught two authors complaining about dealing with their curly hair, so I chimed in about how much I envied them, since I have lifeless hair. It ended up with us thinking of them was a murderous mermaid at night!

So, yeah, it’s great to see the promotional messages, but I love those almost mundane passing thoughts people have, and they’re so much easier to relate to then.

Oh, another thing. Promote fellow bloggers. Build your community. Reply to tweets, retweet good reviews, etc. I personally promote other bloggers who interact with me, either on my blog or on twitter. In fact, I got to know one blogger through twitter and trading blog comments, and now she’s coming to see me next Sunday until the Sunday afterwards! Twitter is great for making friends like that if you react to what you read.

(Sorry if none of that made sense. I’m typing on my phone, about to go to sleep. 😋)
